Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Operations Business Analyst - to join our Human Resources Shared Services Operations and Support team. The team is responsible for driving change, process efficiency, and standardization across HR Services globally. The role will lead HR process migration activities while at the same time identifying opportunities for improvement and best practice sharing by driving continuous education and improved operational excellence.

" This is a remote position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the State of Colorado."

Responsibilities:

Shared Service Process Migration
Lead and execute assigned projects to migrate identified HR processes and transactions into HR Shared Services. Leverage cross-functional knowledge and relationships to effectively support migration activities by diagnosing project/program challenges to ensure successful implementation.
  • Develop and manage to a project plan to include requirements gathering, design, development, testing and training, risks and develops timeline for HRSS readiness activities.
  • Document requirements, risks and develops timeline for HRSS readiness activities.
  • Lead activities across multiple teams to ensure effective and timely project completion.
  • Document HR Shared Services future state processes to ensure that the team will be fully prepared to support the new work.
  • Lead documentation efforts to support the changes (i.e. Desktop/System Procedures) to ensure sustainability and with a global lens
  • Coordinate and lead testing activities to include the creation of testing scripts
  • Handle Change Management and internal communications across HRSS teams


Process Improvements
Identify areas for process improvements, prepare proposals for review by management and implement approved process improvements.
  • Research issues, processes, and procedures from different angles and various sources to develop a thorough understanding and to discover root causes.
  • Break down complex problems into logical components, considering both long term and short term impact.
  • Summarize analysis findings in a format to enable effective decision making.
  • Thinks strategically and identifies innovative solutions when faced with processing problems or service inefficiencies.
  • Coordinates activities across multiple teams to ensure effective and timely implementation of process improvements.


Process Documentation
Review existing processes to ensure that all existing processes fully documented while ensuring that documentation is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of processes and process improvement recommendations.
  • Document existing processes and procedures which are found not to be documented.
  • Ensure documented processes/procedures are operationalized and put into practice on a go-forward basis.
  • Proactively update existing documentation and knowledge articles as policies and processes change.


Qualifications:

  • Note: This role will be focused on business operations and not technical configuration.
  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst in Human Resources managing/ leading project work streams in an analytical or change management role.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to successfully interact with various levels within the organization
  • Exceptional customer focus and service orientation
  • HR operations / project management experience preferred.
  • Experience with Workday (HCM, Recruiting & Onboarding, Payroll) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio);
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal direct supervision
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
