HR Administrator, People - Regional HR / HR Management

Are you looking for a new career opportunity in the Human Resources department? Join the exceptional HR team supporting Thomson Reuters' offices in North Asia now! As a Human Resources Administrator, you will provide generalist or specialist operational support and day-to-day advisory on clearly defined HR policies and processes to employees and first line managers. You will also be responsible of upkeeping documents and records, and deliver relevant HR administrative/operational activities within SLAs. As a member of the Regional HR, you will be part of the team who will help the HR leadership across the Asia Pacific Region.

About the Role

In this opportunity as HR Administrator, you will:
  • Draft standard template letters (reference, visa application, employment certification, promotion, transfer) and contracts across all business functions
  • Ensure the smooth administrative onboarding of new starters, including collecting new starter paperwork, benefit enrolment, etc.
  • Coordinate other administrative aspects of off-boarding of employees including sending of the leaver paperwork, terminating benefit coverage, etc
  • Generate of weekly, monthly, quarterly reports on joiners and leavers across AEM
  • Be responsible for tracking vendor contracts, managing contract/subscription renewals, invoice payments, maintaining trackers
  • Respond to requests and complete annual required employee information spreadsheets for insurance vendors including workers compensation, salary continuance, benefits providers etc
  • Support annual employer tax filing activities
  • Provide routine reporting, data gathering exercises as needed
  • Complete government forms using standard WD reports
  • Provide routine Workday support as needed
  • Support employee engagement activities as directed
  • Maintain employee records electronically
  • Assist with EAD/payroll as needed
  • Update and maintain the HR policies page
  • Continuously improve to drive administrative/operational efficiency, implementation of SLAs

About You

You’re a fit for the role of HR Administrator if your background includes:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong focus on quality/accuracy/speed of delivery
  • Strong understanding of administrative process flow
  • Experienced using multiple IT systems/tools e.g., Workday, CORA, Ariba, ServiceNow
  • Well developed knowledge of HR databases, MS Word, Outlook, Excel
  • Collaborative and excellent communication skills
  • Good analytical skills and high initiative
  • Customer service mindset
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and be flexible and resilient in a changing environment
  • Ability to work with, maintain and keep confidential information secure
  • Previous experience in a HR administrative role
