Description

The compensation manager plans, develops and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the county’s goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that county compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

$86,520.39 - $109,561.89 annually, plus benefits (see benefits tab on the job posting).

Requirements

What You Need:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in incentive compensation, commission, and executive compensation plan design and administration is strongly desire.
• Experience building compensation & job structures, as well as conducting market benchmarking.
• Comfort working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, work environment.
• Excellent communication skills; approachable and responsive.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to communicate both qualitative and quantitative data effectively.
• Initiative, resilience, precision, and flexibility amidst a high volume of time-sensitive projects.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Office product suite.
• A strong understanding of HR Technology Systems and Compensation Tools.

What Will Set You Apart:
• Master’s Degree in a Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Additional preferred credential(s): CCP, CEP
• Experience using BI and data analytics platforms
